MOORE'S CAGE BIRD MIXTURES have been developed over the years with help from many breeders in Ontario & across Canada. Ours' are premium mixtures made with only the best products on the market today and cleaned to the highest standards that many of our competitors still can't match! 

(Please note that We do not spray our mixtures with oil to hide the dust and make it artificially shiny. Our seed looks shiny because it's clean!)

50-50 BUDGIE MIXTURE
This is a mixture of Moore’s best #1 White Proso Millet and Canary Seed and is a basic mix for all Budgies. You could also use 50-50 as a base mix for many other seed eating cage birds.




VARIETY MIXTURE (FOR BUDGIES)
This is a mixture of Moore’s best #1 White Proso Millet, Canary Seed, Yellow Proso Millet, Whole Vitaminized Groats (Vitamins A, D3 & E), and Japanese Millet. This is a more complete diet for Budgies and is very popular with many top breeders. It can also be fed to Cockatiels and Lovebirds.


SINGING CANARY MIXTURE
This is a mixture of Moore’s best Canary Seed, Small Sweet Rape Seed, Niger Seed and Flax Seed . This is a basic breeder Canary mix.

COCKATIEL/LOVEBIRD NO SUNFLOWER MIX
This is a mixture of Moore’s best Canary Seed, Whole Oat Groats, #1 White Proso Millet, Yellow Proso Millet, Cracked Yellow Corn, Small Sweet Rape Seed and Safflower Seed. This is a popular seed mixture for all Cockatiels and Lovebirds but without the Striped Sunflower seeds (less fat).


PARROT MIXTURE
This is a mixture of Moore’s best Striped Sunflower Seed, Yellow Oats, Whole Yellow Corn, Ontario Soft Wheat, Red Milo, White Milo, Safflower Seed, Hard Spring Wheat, Shelled Peanuts and In-the-shell Peanuts. This is a popular seed mixture for all medium and large Parrots.


FINCH MIXTURE
This is a mixture of Moore’s best Golden German Millet, #1 White Proso Millet, Canary Seed, Hungarian Millet, Japanese Millet and Siberian Millet. This is a popular seed mixture for seed eating Finches and tropical birds.

DOVE MIXTURE
This is a mixture of Moore’s best #1 White Proso Millet, White Milo, Red Milo, Safflower Seed, Canary Seed, Small Sweet Rape Seed, Ontario Soft Wheat and Buckwheat. This is a popular seed mixture for most birds in the Dove family.

SPECIAL FINCH MIX W/WILD SEEDS (FOR INDOOR BIRDS)
This is a special mixture of small, cleaned weed seeds taken from our field crops, then added to a basic finch mixture. These are mixed, cleaned and used by many of our Finch Breeders, but can be fed to all seed eating birds.

TREAT & CONDITION MIXTURE (FOR ALL BIRDS)
Treat & Condition is one of the few mixtures we still mix by hand. It contains Natural Sesame Seed, Golden German Millet, Niger Seed, Caraway Seed, Anise Seed, Fennel Seed, Groat Chips, Hemp Seed and Bakers Flax Seed. This mixture is intended only as a treat for your birds and not as a main diet. Serve separate from the rest of their diet, 2 or 3 times a week.

SISKIN SEED MIXTURE
This is a mixture that was formulated by a dedicated Siskin breeder, and is now available to all. It consists of Nyjer Seed, Red Perilla, Canary Seed, Golden German Millet, Red Proso Millet, White Proso Millet, Siberian Millet, Hungarian Millet, Japanese Millet, Small Rape Seed, Wild Seeds, Anise Seed and Oat Groats.
